Where Our Story
Begins.
Our story begins many years ago with the entrepreneurial spirit of Rhett Kniep. Raised in a solid family of independent business owners, at 24 years old Rhett cut his “business” teeth in launching his own construction firm. Later, he became a real estate broker, and blended his general contractor skills with the opportunities of real estate to create a successful home-flipping and investing business.
But the good times didn’t last forever. When the great recession rocked America in the late-2000’s, his two chosen industries, construction and real estate, crashed the hardest. His investments and projects – along with another business he had created – disintegrated to dust, leaving him bereft of almost everything he had built up over the previous two decades.
For nearly a year, he scraped a living together for his family of 7 in a 23′ trailer behind a relative’s house. It was a period which taught him some lessons he would never forget.
He learned the value of making calculated business decisions. He learned the importance of working with people of integrity. And he learned the wisdom of seeking professional business counsel.
Throughout the ensuing decade, Rhett was faithful to implement the lessons life had taught him. In time, he built up a highly successful business brokerage and M&A advisory. Having experienced both the losses of poor choices and the blessings of wise choices, he committed himself to guiding others in wise business practices.
